back the Marcy’s! Hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade ice cream, drinks, and

Sunday, September 12th, @ 7:00 p.m. – The FCWM is sponsoring a Nursery-

Sunday School "Blessing" for the Camino de Vida Church in Lexington. If you

would like to participate, please bring items to the Hospitality Room. Nursery toys

and Sunday School supplies are desperately needed! Thank you for blessing and

helping Camino de Vida. Please check your mailboxes today for more

information!

The Fall Sunday School opening kickoff will be Sunday, September 12, at 9:45

am in the sanctuary.

The FCSM Kickoff will be on Wednesday, September 8th, at 7:00 pm. We will be

meeting at the Sun Theatre in Holdrege. Admission is free; please bring money

for concessions.

Thank you for the prayers, cards, food and memorials since the sudden loss of

Kyle's mother in May and recently his father. Our family was also comforted by

the beautiful flowers from Holcomb at his father's funeral service. We have

deeply appreciated your prayers and loving concern for our family these past

several months. God's blessings to each one of you.

Missions- Please continue to pray this month for two of the missionary families

we help to support. 1. Ben and Debra Reece (Jordan) as they try to reach the

Muslims with the truth of the gospel. 2. Ernie and Donna Manges (Philippines)

as he and his team lead 15 new missionary candidates through pre-field training

now through mid-October.

Moms and grandmothers are invited to an informational coffee to learn more

about Moms In Touch International, a Christian prayer ministry where women

gather to pray for children and schools. The introductory meeting will be held

September 2, 9:30 AM, and for those who work there will be a noon meeting

on Tuesday, August 31, 12:15 PM. Both Meetings will be at North Park

Assembly, 110 14th Avenue, Holdrege. Mothers are welcome to bring their

children. Those attending the noon meeting are welcome to bring their lunch.

The Todd Becker Foundation will be sharing their “Where is Your Life Headed”

presentation at Holdrege High School on September 22, 2010. The day’s events

will include an assembly for grades 9 – 12 at 2:00 pm and an evening assembly

and live concert by the Christian band “Chye” at 7:30 pm, of which the public is

invited to attend. The evening program will take place in the high school gym.

The presentation is given in large part by Keith Becker, the brother of Todd

Becker, and unfolds the choices that led to the death of Todd Becker. For more
